"Extremely Disappointing Customer Service & Business Practices

After more than 10 years with State Farm, my family recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the Kyle Angelle State Farm office involving Tamara Dunlap, Jennifer Davis, and Rosetta Clinton.

We contacted Tamara Dunlap about changing coverage on one of our vehicles. We were told that because both vehicles were on the same policy, we could not reduce coverage on one vehicle without creating an entirely new policy. When we later spoke with Jennifer Davis, she confirmed this information and assured us that our existing policy, discounts, and other vehicle would not be negatively affected.

After making the change and paying for the new policy, we received multiple documents with inconsistent premium amounts, incorrect/missing names, and an unexpected increase to the premium on our other vehicle.

When I contacted the office for clarification, Tamara was unable to adequately explain the discrepancies. I requested a meeting with management, which resulted in an appointment with Jennifer Davis and Rosetta Clinton.

Unfortunately, that meeting was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Rosetta Clinton was confrontational and repeatedly interrupted me while I was trying to understand the policies and charges. Jennifer was pleasant but did not speak directly to me during the meeting besides offering water and helping provide me a pen. She has always been pleasant in our interactions over the years. When I questioned the way my concerns were being handled, I was made to feel as though I was the problem for simply asking reasonable questions. When I ultimately requested cancellation of my policies, Rosetta laughed.

After more than 10 years as a State Farm customer, I have never experienced this level of poor communication, dismissiveness, or disrespect. The overall interaction left me feeling that I was not being treated fairly and raised concerns for me about whether race played a role in how I was treated.

I ultimately chose to end my relationship with this office. I hope State Farm takes this experience seriously, reviews how these policy changes were handled, and addresses the customer service concerns involving Tamara Dunlap, Jennifer Davis, and Rosetta Clinton."
